In addition to advertising opportunities on its owned websites, Autobytel provides advertising opportunities for automotive manufacturers and other automotive advertisers through the company’s marketing network, which includes the automotive sections of third party co-branded websites operated by Autobytel and the Autobytel AutoReach advertising network.

The Special Finance Leads program allows the dealer to capture credit risk customers after they've applied for an auto loan and also provides consumers an opportunity to obtain financing for a vehicle through its network of subscribing dealers and online finance companies.

What is Autobytel LeadCall?

Autobytel LeadCall is a customized live-call program to set in-dealership VIP appointments and score customer "readiness to buy" so you can focus on the all important process of building relationships and selling to customers. It's like adding an extra salesperson for less than you spend on balloons!

 
How it works:
  1. Dealer receives the Purchase Request and attempts customer contact.
2. Four hours after receiving the Purchase Request, the LeadCall Specialist will begin to call the customer.
    a. The calls will be made from 9 am to 9 pm for the specific time zone in which the customer resides.
b. Up to 8 calls will be made within 3 days. No messages will be left.
  3. Once the LeadCall Specialist reaches the customer, a series of questions are asked to score the customers buying readiness and set in-dealership VIP appointment.
4. Dealer receives notification of customer in-dealership VIP appointment
5. Dealer helps customer buy vehicle.

What is the Autobytel Quality Verification System® (QVS®)

To ensure that the quality of the consumers that Autobytel sends to its dealers remains high, Autobytel has instituted one of the most aggressive customer quality verification systems in the business.

QVS also includes a "No Spam" policy: Autobytel will not solicit or accept Purchase Requests from our third-party providers that were acquired from an email campaign.

 
Autobytel's seven-step Quality Verification System:
  1. "Serious Buyer Only" language is prominently displayed at the start of all Purchase Requests (PRs).
2. Each PR name is crosschecked, and bad names are eliminated.
3. Every phone number is verified.
4. Questionable phone numbers are validated with a live call from Autobytel's customer call center.
5. Email addresses are verified. PRs with undeliverable email addresses are eliminated.
6. PRs from Serious Buyers are sent to the Dealership.

To stay ahead of the marketplace, we regularly adjust our QVS by adding more rigorous filtering hardware and software designed to make sure that only quality leads reach the dealerships.

What is Autobytel's Rapid Response Program?

Autobytel's Rapid Response is a value-added service that automatically places phone calls to Autobytel member dealers, immediately notifying them - generally within seconds - each time an Autobytel customer requests a price quote from their dealership during normal business hours. This unique service generated significant improvements to customer response rates and sales among dealers who participated in the program.

How it works:
  1. Rapid Response automatically calls you once a Purchase Request has been submitted. (The phone tree system will dial up to 3 contact numbers until you are reached!)
2. An automated operator tells you a request has come in and gives you the details.
3. Press "1" and you are then connected to the customer.

What is Email Manager?

Autobytel's Email Manager is a value-added service that helps dealers keep in touch with online customers with targeted e-mails at timely intervals during the purchasing process. Automatically generated, customized, branded e-mails remind customers that the Autobytel member dealership is available to assist them with their purchase, and keeps the dealership top-of-mind. Autobytel's Email Manager program also provides real time customer alerts and back-end access so you know the minute a customers opens the email or click on your website link, giving you a live snap-shot of where the customer is in the car-buying lifecycle.

Site Purpose and Reputation: Before a site can become a part of the Autobytel Marketing Network, it is ranked by how relevant it is to prospective car buyers.

Lead Quality: Autobytel Marketing Network sites are put on notice or suspended if lead quality drops and too many leads are scrubbed out by our Quality Verification System.

Customer-Centric Experience: Secret Shoppers monitor Autobytel Marketing Network sites regularly to make sure the process is positive and "serious-buyer-only" expectations are clear.

Closing Ratio Standards: Autobytel Marketing Network sites are suspended if their closing ratio falls below our average closing ratio.
The higher the Autobytel Marketing Network site ranks in the above criteria, the more Purchase Requests it can deliver to our dealers.
